Johnny and I generally try to go on trips a few times a year.  For us, travel is more than just relaxing and enjoying a new scenery.  Visiting new destinations, whether near or far, allows us to broaden our horizon and continuously gain knowledge on local cultures and history. Here you will find highlights of the travels that we have … Continue reading

During the first week of November, Johnny and I flew down to Miami to attend a friend’s wedding.  Amy and Matt were to be married in the Coral Gables area.  So it only made sense that we should spend a few nights in close proximity to their wedding venues. After researching hotels in the Coral … Continue reading

This video documents our tour through the house recreating our favorite scenes from the movie and follows us through the museum where actual costumes and props are housed. It was definitely the highlight of my trip to Cleveland!
Last Sunday was the perfect fall day to roam around the forests deep in the heart of South Carolina.
How much have we lost in the name of “progress?” Large portions of the southeastern region of the United States used to be covered with floodplain forests. Overtime trees were cut to build ships, railroads, and various other structures. The floodplains were drained to make way for farms and cities. What little still remains is nowadays protected within entities such as the Congaree National Park.

I was hoping to find some peace and quiet at Berry College’s vast campus. Instead, so many people took advantage of Saturday’s beautiful weather. We saw three quinceanera celebrations, a wedding, and various people doing random photo shoots.
Forever rooting for the #ClemsonTigers
