This video documents our tour through the house recreating our favorite scenes from the movie and follows us through the museum where actual costumes and props are housed. It was definitely the highlight of my trip to Cleveland!
Last Sunday was the perfect fall day to roam around the forests deep in the heart of South Carolina.
How much have we lost in the name of “progress?” Large portions of the southeastern region of the United States used to be covered with floodplain forests. Overtime trees were cut to build ships, railroads, and various other structures. The floodplains were drained to make way for farms and cities. What little still remains is nowadays protected within entities such as the Congaree National Park.

I was hoping to find some peace and quiet at Berry College’s vast campus. Instead, so many people took advantage of Saturday’s beautiful weather. We saw three quinceanera celebrations, a wedding, and various people doing random photo shoots.
